A Testament to Capability, Innovation, and Integrity
Across decades of engineering and international collaboration, Eric Le Quéré has earned the trust of global industry leaders who recognize his rare ability to unite technical mastery with decisive execution. His leadership has consistently delivered measurable results across complex, high-stakes environments- from advanced maritime operations to biotechnology integration and sustainable innovation. A notable example was in 2020, when Mr. Yusuke Saraya, President of SARAYA Co. Ltd. And ZERI Japan, faced one of his most complex undertakings.
He turned to Eric Le Quéré, entrusting him with the restoration and delivery of the experimental vessel Porrima, which had been immobilised in Japan during the global pandemic. Eric served as both superintendent and captain, directing the mission from full technical recommissioning through to its successful transoceanic delivery from Tokyo to Dubai.
The voyage, completed between October 2021 and March 2022, was delivered on time, on target, and on budget, leading to Porrima’s appointment as a Special Supporter of EXPO 2025 Osaka by the Expo 2025 Association. The success of that mission marked the beginning of an ongoing collaboration built on mutual trust and shared purpose.
From May 2022 to May 2023, SARAYA Japan entrusted Eric with the leadership of the Terolab Surface acquisition and its integration into Saraya Medtech SAS. His management ensured continuity, strategic alignment, and renewed growth. Building on this momentum, SARAYA BlueTech was established in 2024 to engineer and develop Eric’s patented technologies, in partnership with Le Quéré SAS, advancing innovations that will be showcased at EXPO 2025 Osaka within the Blue Ocean Dome.
Recognising his leadership and integrity, Mr. Yusuke Saraya granted Eric Le Quéré full authority in 2025 to represent the Blue Ocean Dome in high-level negotiations with the United Arab Emirates, GCC member states, sovereign funds, investors, and international financial institutions- a reflection of complete confidence in his capability and vision.
This partnership stands as a testament to Eric’s leadership, ethics, and proven ability to deliver complex international projects with precision and integrity, reinforcing his role as a driving force in blue innovation and sustainable maritime development.
